Change steering box

I have a 2012 Monaco Knight 36PFT I have a shepherd steering box numbers on box sticker 27000013, HD94P031, 11J03487. The # on the box is 7880SY017167168027. I have a lot of play in the steering wheel. I want to change to a TRW box . I saw a thread a while ago that dealt with the the the subject and the TRW direct replacement for the Shepherd box . I could use a little help either finding the thread or any information that can help. Thanks

Here you go. I don't know why they show it as technical information in the title versus steering gear replacement but it's not my job.

Lots of information in both long long threads. Breeze through and you will find some very detailed instructions.

The task is more daunting than difficult. Lifting the beast takes a decent floor jack but once a bolt is in loosely you can swing it up into place.
