As for the six T105's, likely not a problem. What is he current battery setup, four 6v batteries? If you have the to add another pair the charging systems will handle.

The engine alternator is designed to charge both sets of batteries. There is a circuit that includes a large solenoid usually located in a compartment in the rear of the coach.. This circuit controls which set of batteries is charged and when. The big solenoid fails quite often. Check this circuit out first.

In my '96 Safari "which set of batteries is charged and when" is controlled by a "diode based solid state battery isolator", (NOT a "large solenoid").

I don't know whether the '02 Monaco Knight uses a "solid state isolator", or a "large solenoid", to control battery charging.
However, whether it uses an "isolator" or a "soleniod", the alternator in a '02 Monaco SHOULD CHARGE BOTH the house and the chassis batteries as you drive...(WILL if everything is working correctly).

It should handle it no problem. I run 8 house batteries and haven't had a problem. Key though is to make sure your house batteries are charged when you hit the road otherwise you could risk burning your alternator out trying to charge all the house batteries, if they are low.

First you agree, the alternator will handle it.

Then you say, make sure they are charged before hitting the road, otherwise the alternator could burn up.

We all have our own best practices. If my 8 house batteries have been used extensively I fire up the genset for a while when I first take off in an attempt to minimize the load on the alternator. Right or wrong in works for me.
