Check valve location
I have a 2007 Monaco dynasty squire model.
When I last disconnected from a rv park, the water was under pressure because I failed to open a faucet. However it seemed that when I turned the pump on, Water started pumping out of the hose that you connect to the RV site I was suspicious that maybe there is a check valve in line after the hose which I have been told may be in the clogged open position.however some people also say that maybe there is not a check valve that you just use the little plastic cap that goes on the incoming hose to keep the water from coming out. could this be true or am I missing a check valve? I’ve searched my entire RV water system and have yet to find a check valve. I have a powered hose reel I checked around that as well could it be within the power real? I did not want to take it apart until I knew

There must be a check valve in the City water inlet side - somewhere.
Here is a diagram of the water system for my Coach. Yours maybe different, but should be close. See the "City Water" connection and note that this system has two check valves between the water hose and the pressure gauge.
You need at least one.

I had the same thing happen to me . I have a valve on my wet bay panel that has a
handle for selecting if I want water to go into the tank or plumbing system .
When I removed that valve I found a check valve mounted to the valve .
The ck valve can be unscrewed and replaced ( home depot , lowes etc )
Mine is a brass valve that can be taken apart and I found a piece of rubber
holding it open so I put the ck valve back on and it has work fine for yrs .

Mine had a check valve just above the water inlet. It went bad and I installed a new inlet valve with integrated check valve. It was about $10 on Amazon.

That schematic definitely helped. I found it!! I was looking for a brass check valve, but it was gray plastic like all the connectors throughout the system. I used your map and found the most logical place. Just before the valve that transfers the water to the storage tank. It was jammed with one grain of sand. I pushed in on it with a screwdriver and she popped back to normal. I’m still ordering one . Thanks to all!!

I haven't bought one but I have been told check valves are available at your home
centers . On one small piece I would just go buy it
