Cigarette Lighter Receptical Fuse
Hi Folks,
Have a Monaco Knight '06 DFD with a cigarette lighter receptical that is dead as a doedoe. Looked at the fuse panel on outside/drivers side and that was scary. Miniature fuses, fat fingers and I don't want to pull one by one. (And, oh by the way, I was the numbnuts who blew the fuse).
Does anyone have a clue what fuse is the culprit?? Or does anyone have an electrical schematic for this DFD Knight rv?? Sure would be helpful. Thanks for your input. This site has been always very helpful.

Been there, several of the big box stores offer a fuse assortment with a combination puller and light up tester. It has to prongs coming out of it that you touch on the fuse and if the fuse is good, is will light up. This was much easier than looking around for the bad one or pulling to check them. A volt meter will do the same thing by putting the probes across the test holes in the fuse. Good luck, on my 201 Ambassador, there is a fuse list on the inside of the cover.
Hope this helps and have a great day Happy Trails Bert

Just a possiblity, I do not know this for a fact, but many 12 Volt Outlets, especially is they are used or can be used as a lighter are wired to the battery and contain an in-line fuse holder and fuse.
Do not know if this is the case with yours.

When you take the cover off in the outside electrical bay under the driver's window look for a diagram on the inside of the cover. You may be able to locate the fuse that powers the 12 Volt outlet from that diagram. Our owners manual also has a list of fuses and what they are for. Chances are there are other things on that same fuse so the label may be misleading. Hope you fine it.

On my coach that fuse was located as stated, in the drivers side front. The fuse is a 5 amp located in the second group from the right. Don't remember which one in the group.

If it is the "accessory" fuse, ours is fuse # 45 located halfway down the middle row. It's a 15 amp (blue fuse).
