Circuit Board Failure EMS

2006 Camelot, 700 Box with 760EMS upgrade, front a/c stopped working. Also found a fault in my Generator that I had a short, while testing operation in preperation for a trip. A/c technician was checking the Duo-Therm for a problem when we found this board burned up. A/c is okay, supplied power direct and it worked fine. Controller is good too for both a/c's. The board took out the operation of water heater and front a/c.
ltdrvparts.com was great. Owner uses his personal cell phone customers to call. He took my call when they were closed, went in and sent my parts in 30 minutes and saved me 17.00 in shipping!!! Parts arrived by 2pm on the day the woud have been sent, and at a good price. So... has anyone ever seen this or have any ideas what may have caused it, or just a bad board or relay in the board???? I think I should have seen some smoke. the box has some discoloration around the area.Maybe it happened when I was asleep or not at home. Board replacement seems to have solved the problem...so far.

I had my rig parked at the house plugged into a 20 amp outlet. Had a lightening strike the power poll that feeds the house. Lost a TV in the house. Didn't know we had a problem with the RV until we were getting to leave on a trip and I couldn't get the Load Meter Display to work. Checked everything out and ultimately found the board was bad.

I worked with M&M Electronics and I had to upgrade, they shipped me the new board, EMS display and 2 wiring harnesses.

Lightning strike took out my board also. Can't remember off-hand if the disabled board would not let 1 or 2 air conditioners work. Everything else works fine. Bypassed the board for the a/c. Bought a 760 upgrade board on ebay but haven't got around to putting it in (not sure if I have the knowledge). Anything I should know on the upgrade board? Thanks, Mark PS my board did not have the burn marks even though it was a pretty severe lightning strike that took out the transformers on the pole just upstream from my pole.

Fantastic customer service. Where did you get the part?

Hard to say why it died. Electronics sometimes like to let the smoke out. No reason, just policy.

Leisure Time Distributing ltdrvparts.com They carry many components and have very competetive pricing. I got the part I needed @ $278.00 plus shipping and had seen prices over $400.00 for similar parts. Also, I was able to purchase what I needed and not extra items that I did not require. But the service was great. I was calling to be sure it was available, we were due to leave on a trip in 4 days. Jeff, the owner, went out of his way to get this done, and all I said was I really need to get that part soon. I was going with second day fedex, he got it to me before they would have picked it up !!

Bought my "new" 2006 Knight 40DFD in 2010, EMS circuit board failed on 3rd trip. Called Monaco, who shipped new board same day, received it in two days. $140.
