Clearance light to LEDs

At the flea market they had six led red and yellow clearance light that use the same screw holes that the original dim bulb lights had.

I put on the two red rear and the four side and front yellow and it is a real wow difference. I think it is too much work to go do the top five front and rear and they work. The new front make the turn signals very noticeable from next lane.

LED's make such a difference in RV applications. I especially like the new interior replacements because they are so efficient.

I've replaced over 60 bulbs in the interior puck lights in our rig, still have a few in the sconces to go, then I can start on the outside and storage bays.

Dupdyke.

From your post am I correct in assuming your front clearance lights also operate as turn signal lights?

If so, can you inform me how they are wired to achieve this double purpose.

I am presently replacing my clearance lights with LEDs and would like to have the front lights serve the dual purpose of both clearance lights and turn signal lights,
..

For those fixtures that you don't want to replace, there's the option of replacing the bulbs within them with LED bulbs. I did this on the rear upper clearance/ID lights, with great results. The front upper/ID lights were harder to reach on the Class C cabover, so I only replaced one (as a trial).

I put led lights in my tail lights, turn signals, big difference , because we don't leave for the south till January , we have be caught in snow, the led lights don't make enough heat, and my lights get covered in snow, had to change back to standard bulbs to melt the snow so others could see the lights, I wish we could go before the snow hits but that's not going to happen for a few more years .

Didn't want the cost or hassle of changing out every clearance light so I replaced the incadesent bulbs with these.

Robot Check

Conversion cost $1.20 per clearance light.

But I went from one single filament bulb to 9 leds that really light up side and rear or front. Mine is wired so clearance blinks with turn don't know how but it is great that along side you know I am moving over...
