I try to never latch anything in the coach when I open and shut the drawers and doors. Shutting all of them before I roll is a 45 second deal. Hopefully it will save wear and tear on the latches is my thinking. But I will follow this thread to here what the closet door fix is.

I do the same thing. These were broken when I bought the coach. I still have to replace one or two, three about once a year. I'm still waiting on a reply from NWRV supply after they said they would search for them.

Tim, would you mind taking a few more pictures? I have tried very hard to get a close look at thost but just cannot make them out well enough. Try some with flash as well.
I think I know what they are but with a good picture google may be able to come up with the name of the part via the picture.

We think alike .....Zackley my routine.
Why wear out all the detents in the latches when there is no need to.
Also IMC I don't close the coach main entrance door closed to the second latch every time I get in coach that being 25 times or more a day while in camp or here at home in storage. I gently push closed to the first latch and let it be. Yes certain weather I do close it ...or when leaving the coach unattended.
I wrestled with the door latch linkage routine like many others here at iRV2 have and also replaced door handle years ago .. not fun, but not hard, just dont feel like wrestling with it again and my thinking is most cases the door need not be closed to the 2nnd latch.
Happy Trails

Those are the alignment buttons I referred to. They don't latch anything on mine, just keep the door from flexing
I guess they wore out and someone put a latch in as well. It works great is all i can say.

Food for thought, what about using something like this?

These are exactly what I replaced my broken latches with years ago. Got them at Camping World I believe. For what it’s worth, mine have never scratched me.

I'm either too lazy or blind to see if there was any link for the part in the video. That latch looks like a great idea.
Those ball and socket latches Tim has are very strange indeed and I have seen something like that but just cannot seem to remember it.
