Co Pilot Seat control cable

We have a 2010 Class A Holiday Rambler Admiral and the lever that allows you to move the seat forward and backwards has broken away from the cable under the seat. The parts guys at ARGRV tell me that this part is not available so I have to buy a complete new seat. Seems hard to believe!!! Anyone ever had this issue and have any idea where I can get this cable assembly? It is a totally manual seat. Hate to think what a new seat would cost. ThX.

That's ridiculous. Could you possibly pick up a repair choke cable from the auto parts store? Most of the replacement ones you buy can be trimmed to length for your purpose. That would be crazy to buy a whole new seat for a little cable.

Seat control

It is the plastic lever on the side of the seat that attaches to the cable that is broken but I think the cable and lever come as a unit.

Oh sorry I misunderstood you. Maybe a pic would help. I'm sure you could come up with something versus buying a $500+ (I'm guessing here) seat.

Check with these folks Flexsteel Seat Parts, RV Seat parts, RV Furniture Parts, Marine Furniture Parts, Motorhome chair parts, RV Chair Parts, rv captains chair parts, flexsteel rv seating parts, villa rv seating parts, they probably have what you need.

Seat control

No kidding Dick. It was actually the people at the factory as well as the RV dealerships all saying the same thing. The Forum ROCKS in my books. Gerry
