Your going to have to get the uneven batteries charged up the same, otherwise they won't balance up.

Get a cheap 6 volt charger and charge each battery for a day. Once all are charged, connect them back up and see what happens.

Battery issue resolved

I want to thank everyone for your suggestions. It appears the installation of a new temperature sensor is going to fix the problem. It was very difficult installing the new sensor, I would suggest to anyone replacing this sensor to purchase the 50 foot model we had just enough to reach the inverter. Thanks again to everyone, Jack
