Well we have our UFO back from the local HR dealer. They managed to adjust the cables so that the living room slide now moves in and out, goes flush to the floor. It took them quite a while to get some help from the AccuSlide techy folks. They didn't do anything about the fresh water tank dumping out the breather hole into the first compartment (that is full of plumbing). They say this is a pretty typical thing to happen. Not much they can do without removing the tank. No thanks. I plan to make a drain hole in the compartment and store bottled water there. That can't cause much damage. Also the radio still plays the wrong four speakers but I am not worried about that either. That could just be an adjustment or a simple wiring change. The slide was the big thing and now that is fixed. I am going to hire a carpenter friend of mine to replace some of that crappy paper covered particle board trim around the slide that Monaco and everyone else uses with real wood ASAP. Tomorrow morning we are off to Hatteras for a few days. It will be our first real trip out in the new coach since the 4th of July.

Thanks to the folks at Monaco who got involved and made sure that AccuSlide talked to Dodd Rv in Newport News VA and thanks to Diane and the techs at Dodd who made the repairs.
