Column link

Have steering column link between column and gear box with excessive play. Previous grease jobs missed middle grease fitting. Not a lot of wear but when you multiply to outer ring of steering wheel comes out to about 1 inch. Made by Douglas Auto Tech p/n 4202116-c. Will not sell to public . Are there any sources for this part other than Mother Monaco. Thanks

The steering column is made by Douglas Autotec but the shaft is probably made by spicer.

I have the parts breakdown for my 2002 Steering column. It shows that

Prior to 2/1/02 it used a Spicer 916657-437SX

After it used a 42023116-C

They may be interchangeable.

Here is a link for one
https://www.fleetsworld.com/products/916657-437

Do you have the old one out, there is probably a label on it.

Sorry for delay. Have unit out. Can not find spec. on spicer unit. Does your 2002 have Douglas Auto tech column and TRW steering box. Mine column 9203315 c gear box TAS 65187A. Went salvage yard looking today. Spicer units look much stronger with splined slider verses hexagon. Thanks
