Convert Aladdin to Silverleaf

Who has converted the Aladdin monitoring system to Silverleaf setup?
What does it involve? Is it possible for one to do it, or have take it somewhere?
What was the cost? Satisfaction?
Trying to check all options.
I appreciate any advise before I make a decision about mine.

I'm sorry I can't help with any answers, but you asked the very questions that I have. Next summer, I'm contemplating making an appointment with Silverleaf for around the time that we plan to go to the FMCA rally in Coos Bay, Oregon to do exactly what you are thinking about. Our '06 Dynasty probably would likely face a nearly identical conversion plan.

Regarding the GPS piece of the system, we are now using a Garmin GPS, instead of the outdated and un-updatable GPS that came with the Kenwood system and the Aladdin. So that frees up the space from the GPS DVD reader for the possible future installation of a good over-the-air radio or satellite radio. So that would take care of two of the functions of the Aladdin system. That would only leave the cameras and the engine, trip function and coach related systems functions to take care of with the Silverleaf.

I'll anxiously await responses from folks that have "been there, done that."

Aladdin To SilverLeaf Conversion | SilverLeaf Electronics, Inc.

Silver leaf has a brief description on their website so it seems possible.

I did not have an Aladdin System on my Windsor but I did buy a VMSPC and installed. I have it connected to a small Sony Vio and have it set up to monitor my vitals while driving. I just did this last year but have come a believer, the system is great. I bought my system from RV Upgrades, they had the best price.

Good Luck

Have since done some troubleshooting on my system. Found out the Aladdin system is still operational. The front screen is bad. Hooked it all thru a TV set, and it works fine. Now to have the local Audio store to supply me with a video screen that will fit the hole in the dash, and I'll be a happy camper
