Coolant Leak

I have a 2005 Monoco Cayman, powered by a Cummins 5.9. I recently noticed a small puddle under the engine. I determined it to be a coolant leak. After crawling around under the motor, I traced the leak to be high up on the left side of the engine block. I couldn't see the exact location. I couldn't see any leak, looking down from the top of the engine.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Finding a leak may require some patience. Possible sources are heater lines, freeze plugs, head gaskets, and coolant lines going to the tranny. If it is not leaking while running, then bring the engine to operating temp and then shut off the engine. Pressures and temps with climb so watch for leaks for about 20 minutes after shutoff. Use bright lights for inspecting the wet areas.

I'll add , block heater & thermostat housing, to the list of areas that could be leaking.
By left side , I'm assuming , drivers side of the engine , on the exhaust manifold/ turbo side .

The leak is coming from the passenger side of engine. I thought it was the left side of the engine, cause the engine is facing backwards. Sorry. The leak starts when the engine has been running. After sitting for awhile, no leak.

Thanks for your comments. I have made an appointment at a repair facility for next week. I just wanted to be ahead of the mechanics.
