IT'S HARD TO READ ALL CAPS, ISN'T IT? OFTEN INTERPRETED AS SHOUTING. You need to be a little more specific about the location of your coolant leak. Above the starter on what type of engine? On the "JVA JII LEVEL JACKS" do you have power to the dash control panel? Have you checked the appropriate fuse for the jacks? Have you downloaded a manual for the jacks and searched it for a troubleshooting guide? Help us help you.

Is that a Cummins 8.3, a Caterpillar? We still need more information.

OK, I have a Gulfstream. Don't help anybody

It is a Ford powered, 6.8 V 10, gas engine. Now people can help.

Your engine is probably a Cat or Cummins. Cat engines are yellow. But somewhere, is information of what size and horsepower you have, that would help a lot.

If he has a 2002 Windsor it is a Cummins ISC. Liquid coming from above the starter would be diesel fuel perhaps? That would indicate a leaky lift pump. A common problem with early ISC's. I'm not sure what would be leaking coolant above the starter but certainly possible.
You should have RVA jacks. I think there are inline fuses at the pump. My Windsor pump was near the steps accessed from under coach.

There shouldn't be any items that would leak coolant above the starter. The starter is on the driver's side, right at the engine block/transmission junction. Just above the starter is the exhaust manifold and no normal coolant hoses unless you have a heater hose routed over that area, the leak is either traveling down a ridge from the rear or perhaps a leaking freeze plug, leaking head gasket, cracked head or block, etc. Wipe up and clean up everything you can, start engine and observe.

Your need to identify what fluid you are dealing with FIRST.

There is a BIG difference in the color of the fluid between Coolant and Diesel Fuel.

I recently experienced a major Coolant leak breakdown while on my way to Cummins Northwest in Coburg to replace my Coolant Shutoff Valve which was leaking.

Based on my experience and recent heater hose failure, I would remove the small narrow engine cover over the step in front of the closet and look closely at the two 3/4 inch heater hoses that are encased in black plastic loom.

My split heater hose was caused by an over zealous tech who had installed a zip-tie WAY too tight around the hose which eventually softened it until it finally failed. The zip-tie caused a restriction in the hose like a partial blockage causing that section of hose to swell, overheat and slowly deteriorate.

Depending on exactly where the zip-tie is placed and the possible split in the hose it could drip in either direction or both.

The hoses are at the rear of the engine rocker cover.

BTW, the same Cummins tech who repaired the hose and installed the Coolant Shutoff Valve ALSO found my lift pump leaking. You had better check that REAL closely too because if not caught in time it could take out your CAPS fuel pump system which is extremely costly to repair.

Sorry BFlinn181 the ISC has the exhaust manifold on the opposite side of the engine as the lift pump and starter.

That's correct!

The starter is on the curbside just below the lift pump. The exhaust manifold is on the HOT side of the engine which is the road side along with the turbo and PacBrake.
