I believe that. The Dips all have hydraulic only with automatic leveling. After witnessing how the coach gets jerked in the automatic mode, I decided never to use it. I always level manually, being sure to get that center front jack down first, to give the windshield a "pivot point". I find manual leveling to be quick and easy with one of these gadgets...

I'm not sure what the manual says about manual leveling but I do remember it and the Monaco rep saying that I should use auto leveling. If it isn't level when the process is done that means the terrain is not level enough to get the coach level. I have a few times overridden the auto level and put more lift in one rear jack or the other to get the bed close to level. I did that in a WalMart in Little Rock and woke up to a cracked windshield. I have since let it set where the leveler system stops or move to get a better level. I havn't cracked another one since.
The Monaco guy in the service center in Oregon stated to me that the use of manual leveling is the primary reason for cracked shields, but then Monaco has a bit of a history of blaming things on the user!
