Thanks for the thought. The guys at McMahons in Colton did a great job in getting us back on the road. Given the circumstance I couldn't be happier.

I agree with the folks who said replace dont repair the doors. Otherwise you are going to see bondo repairs under the paint. GET NEW DOORS FROM MONACO! Period. And you can install them yourself reusing all of the hinges and latches etc.

When I had a fender bender with my Dodge truck, my insurance for that truck only went up ~20% for three years. That was with AmFam and I also took a hit when I switched to Allstate. So, unless you are paying higher rates for "Accident Forgives", expect your rates to go up. They're not "On Your Side" like one company advertises. Call your agent, they will tell you how much of a hit you're gonna take.
Glad it all worked out with the repair. If it doesn't match, take it back. They can match it, no matter what they try to tell you. I've had my vehicles partially repainted and you can't tell it.

I banged 7 grand worth of doors on mine (1)and my insurance went from $2400 to $3600 but my independent agent moved me to a company that hadn't run my #s. yet. Got it for $2400 again. Probably get me next year.

Yeah, they usually only do a yearly DMV check. I take PP if you want to keep it secret for that long.

Actually I did get new doors. They were fabricated locally and look fabulous. The paint is perfect. If I had waited on Monaco I have no doubt I would still be waiting. The fabrication costs was the major part of the estimate. By the way I expect my insurance costs to go up.
