Dang it, It’s Hard to Keep Up!

Standing along side the motor home, contemplating the repair I’m currently working on, I look up and see my drivers side window is fogging up. I took this window out and repaired the slider four years ago. This time it’s the fixed window that’s fogging. It’s a never ending battle.

I feel your pain. If we were being paid for it, it would be called 'job security'.

Yup, that's the way I feel.

I took a 5 week trip and from the list I've got it will take about 5 weeks to get it back up and running. >>> Job security

A friend asked me today if I cursed and threw tools while doing the airbags, I said no, but I laid back and cried twice. The only thing that actually broke this summer was the wash machine fill valves, that I'm aware of. Everything else was aging out or existing, so take heart, it does allow us to take a breath.

Good luck. I went with the all electric a couple years ago and not too pleased with the freezer temperature.

When I first put mine in I had the same problem. I noticed it didn't nest well when I installed it. The instructions said nothing about a test fit and after dropping it into the wet foam I just continued. After a few weeks I pull it back out, cut away the foam enough for it to make full contact with no bolt pressure squeezing it together. Been 0 in the freezers since.

Hey, I had to retire early cause there wasn't enough days in a week to go to work, and keep all the systems in the coach maintained / fixed !!

Understood...finished installing my Talin stainless slide ends, big slide went in/out just fine.

Was going to move the coach and bedroom slides would not operate pump motor runs but what the heck...always something...how can big slide work but not the little ones?

Batts full, fluid full, engine running, aired up, fuses good...
ARRRRGH...tomorrow

Going thru something similar myself.

Hyd slides will go out, but not in. Happycarz Harry helped me out, and we found one of the solenoids on the hyd pump was constantly getting power.

Unplug the harness to that solenoid, and I can retract the front slides.
