I drive a workhorse custom chassis (2005 Damon Intruder) ON this rig, near the parking b rake pedal is a fuse block, Near that is a connections panal with a couple of relays, This fuse block is called the I/P fuse block on the service diagram and the panel beside it is the I/P (internal power?) convenience panel?
Damon did something I find very strange, Instead of a cryptic color like "White with a blue stripe" the wire for the dash HEVAC is Yellow with "DASH A/C" printed on it.
IT is,however, hooked to the wrong terminal on the I/P convience panel.
Found it hooked not to "Body Builder Blower) but rather to AUX Power 1.
Aux Power 1 turns out to be a circuit breaker, not a fuse.
I can tell you ... I was very glad to have that knowledge the last few weeks.
(Found the breaker, cleaned the contacts, it worked, Up till yesterday, IT failed (Again) yesterday.. Pulled over, Got new breaker from spares box, (I got a new one cause I just KNEW my brilliant fix was not going to hold long.. turns out I was right) and plugged it in.. On the road agin in under 5 minutes)
The moral is: Look at circuit breakers, The ones I have get downright warm when tripped. Had I touched it with a finger (power on) instead of a test probe, I'd have known quickly.
