Dash Fan Resistor Location

2002 Monaco Diplomat

Only have high speed on dash fan. 20 amp Fuse OK.

Suspect resistors.

Anyone know the location of the resistor pack?

Thanks in advance

The resistor block's usual location , and where it is on my coaches Evans dash A/C assembly , is within inches of the blower motor in the air flow for max cooling.
If you can see the blower motor ; as in the lower portion of this picture; the multiple connector next to it is the resistor.

The resistor is mounted on TOP of the shroud for the fan. It's difficult to find, but in your generator compartment, the shroud is mounted to the firewall on the passenger side. Stick your head in there as far as you can, and you should see a plug with 4 connectors. There are two phillips head screws that hold it in.

Colin,

This may help. The resistors themselves are probably OK but the thermal fuse is likely to be open. Here's what I did to repair our former coach, a 2001 Diplomat. Had to do the same thing to our 2003 Windsor.

Link to dash fan repair.

The pictures got lost in the original post somehow. So here are copies.
