A beautiful spring day and spent part of it de-winterizing the plumbing and airing out the our 08 Endeavor. I started it up and the audible dash warning bell would not stop chiming. Coach aired up properly, antenna was down, jacks were up, no warning lights on the dash. I was able to drive forward and back and the dash warning bell would continue to chime as long as the ignition and engine was on.

I was thankful that I didn't need to drive any where today, however we want to go out for an Easter three day jaunt. Any hints on why the warning bell won't stop chiming or how I can disable it ?

Operate your park brake several times and see if this stops the bell. Also check the level of fluid in your jack hydraulic tank.

You may also want to do the maintenance on your jacks too. It is important to keep your jacks clean. Please check your Owners Manual (It is page 214 in the 2008 Diplomat Manual) for proper procedures.

FWIW There is a problem with some coaches that seems to be associated with dampness and the Air Low Warning chime. Most of the time this results in a less than Full volume sound. Does you chime sound like it is at Full volume? Sometime it is very hard to isolate what chime is actually going off. If this is a problem try forcing them On one at a time and compare the sound, Jacks Down, Parking Brake Off, etc.

I had to cycle the parking brake on and off a few times the other day to get the alarm to go off after restarting the coach and the air had been dumped and the coach was fully aired up.

Hmmm....
I just topped off the jack fluid and lubed the cylinders and looks like the jacks are fully retracting, I put them up and down several times to ensure they are fully raised. Cycled the parking brake numerous times and the rapid warning chime is still there.

The low air warning is a constant alarm and the air is at normal lever while the chiming is still there.

I will try to contact Monaco service support on Monday.

Well next thing to check is the air alarm sender on the front tank. Looks sort of like a hockey puck. The wire connection can corrode. Remove and clean the connections, then cover them with silicone to prevent future corrosion.

If that doesn't stop the alarm, you may have a failed pressure switch on the park brake. Disconnect the leads from that switch and see if the alarm stops. If you need to replace the switch, get the numbers on it. It should be a Nason switch # SM-1C-66R/WP28.

If that doesn't stop the alarm, you may have a failed pressure switch on the park brake. Disconnect the leads from that switch and see if the alarm stops

On our 04 Imperial it is on the park brake selector.

The pressure switch is installed on the body of your park brake. On my coach the park brake is on the panel beside the drivers seat.

Not sure where yours is located.

If it is the same as mine, remove all the screws in the side panel and lift it up and you should see the pressure switch. It will be the only device with wires going to it as part of the park brake.

If yours is dash mounted it will be behind the dash.

As new as your coach is I would be a bit surprised if the pressure switch has failed, but it could happen.

You didn't say if you recognized which warning buzzer was sounding' there are a couple. If it is infact the low air then the pressure switch is the first place to look then the parking brake switch. One thing not mentioned yet is low coolant. This sensor is located on lower portion of the coolant tank. The low fluid sensor for your jacks is in the side of the pump reservoir and the only other one I know of is the antenna up switch which is mounted to the antenna arm' can't remember if there is one for low oil pressure or not. I had a problem with the low air pressure switch located on the side of the air tanks corroding and causing an intermittent buzzer. Good luck; KDK

The sound is a persistent dinging.
When there is low coolant there is no audible warning, just a low coolant message in the center information screen. The antenna is down and the antenna up warning light is not illuminated.
I have cleaned the sending connections on the air sensor at the front tank. the low air audible warning is a constant sound. The parking brake switch seems fine, I disconnected and reconnected the electrical connection on the parking brake switch.

The dinging might be from the hydraulic leveling system, I have lubed the cylinder and topped off the fluid. I have heard the dinging and seen the leveling panel lights flash when the fluid was low and needed filling.

Stretching here but we have an "entry step out" warning that sounds a signal (beep) and also shows up on the dash as a lighted warning label. The sensors on this unit can fail or not be adjusted close enough together and cause the warning to sound when the step is in. Ours sounds a beep and we have had problems with it going off when the area is wet, which reduces the signal to the sensor. Don't know if this is any help but looks like you have eliminated a lot of possibilities.

If it is a power gear leveling system you can just disconnect the sensor on the tank and see it that stops it. When the float sensor is disconnected it will silence the leveling sensor but I believe that that sensor only goes off if you release the parking brake. If the alarm is not loud it could be the low oil sensor that screws up when it gets wet.
