We have over 100k miles on our Cummins ISM500, no problems. We did 40k of those miles in a little over two years.

The secret to those million mile trucks is ! run everyday and for long periods of time and therefore get those miles so quick they don't Have time to wear out first !!!!! LOL , It's a shame they don't build m/h out of Mack trucks! I have 4 all with over a million miles and several sitting in the yard not being used because everything but the engines are worn out,(OIL FIELD TRUCKS )a gas burner would not last a week put under the same conditions. But I think no more than most people use a m/h a unit is just fine and diesel is overkill.
