Mark,

Yeah, you're right. Here they are side-by-side - your '06 Endeavor, and my '07 Dip...

It does look like your windshield is taller. Also more rounded at the base, which is why one wiper pivot arm is lower than the other. I'm surprised to see that. I would have thought that they'd be the same.

I tried to look at the 07 Endeaver's on the HR archive page, but their web site is broken. Whenever you attempt to view the 07 archive files, the 08's come up. The front cap on Mbl Condo's 07 Endeaver looks pretty much like yours, and 06/07 Dips look alike as well.

Your finished wiper job looks great, by the way.

They are at the same point above the frame..The windshield going up gives the illusion that they are not level..Look at the paint lines in relation to the pivot points..

Sacs,
Good point and I see what you are saying. It probably would have helped if I would have had the camera level!!

That's what I meant. I should have said "looks" lower than the other" rather than "is lower than the other". I also meant to say that I thought the front caps would have looked more the same (on the Endeavor and the Dip), not the wipers. My fingers were typing ahead of my brain.

Have you experienced any problem with your wipers (yet)?

None at all, although with only 8-9000 miles, it really has not had a real great test.

Were you still under warranty when you got these replacements?

Sacs,

Mine failed the first time after only about 1000 miles. Dealer "fixed" them, but they got steadily worse. Keep an eye on 'em.

I was able to temporarily make them work by shoving little bits of razor blade behind the socket teeth to tighten up the ball-and-socket joint behind the motor that was constantly popping off. Never was able to stop the driver's side blade from flying off the left side of the windshield, though.

Mine was. Mark's warranty had expired, but he may have documented the problem with Monaco before then. In both cases, Monaco supplied the parts and we had to supply the labor.
