Do newer Holiday Ramblers still belong in this forum?
I've been trying to do my research and I thought I had read that the HR used to be part of the Monaco brand but that the newer models were no longer part of that brand. We are looking at buying a 2018 HR Vacationer 35k and I want to make sure I'm in the right place!
Thanks for your patience with this newbie!

It's made by a new mfg on a different frame and engine and built by different people, so it's really not the Monaco brand (even the new monacos fall under that description)
So unsure how many like minded owners would be in here, but worth the effort just make sure you update your signature to indicate which year/model/engine/mfg and let's see !
Good Luck and welcome !

Thanks for the welcome! We haven't actually purchased our RB yet, but when we do, I'll update my signature. Thanks so much for the tip!

Sorry to say, you will probably get better information on your 2018 coach in the Fleetwood / American coach forum.

X2 as REV is using the good reputation of the various Monaco brands to sucker people into buying something that doesn’t resemble a older Monaco.
For halftime use I’m not willing to spend the money on a Prevost, Newell, or Fortravel to get a 10 airbag chassis like the “old” Monaco RR10S.

Ivylog - are you sure about the "good reputation" part? After owning one for 10 years I'm less convinced. Which is not to say the new ones are better.

distaff -- I was wondering the same thing -- I`ve owned a coach with that chassis for 13 years,& I don`t think it`s all that good -- I know of several Monaco owners that has spent thousands of dollars doing mods to that chassis just to keep it between the ditches -- Bill Willard
