Mic... Thank you ...and I think that this has happened now because - timing to me is everything...and the timing is like it was 9 years ago when I went to work for the best boss I ever have worked for. I feel this group is very much like it was then...

Congrats MM!!

How did you pick Oregon vs some other state? Was it the job offer, taxes, or a need to test your MH out in the rain?

Property taxes are pretty reasonable here. There is no sales tax and registration on my coach is 450.00 for 2 years.

State parks are probably the best in the nation (overall) and the roads are pretty decent.

Just the polititions that drive my crazy.

Besides - you don't have to shovel rain!

One thing that Mama will have to do is get used to going about normal routines even when it's raining - cause if you don't - you will never get anything done!

Besides! Moss is the state plant (no, not really) - but everything stays pretty green throught the year

We actually bought a piece of property back in 1994....and back then part of the reason was because of taxes...but we found that we do enjoy the area also...(yes... it does rain...but I have learned to walk in it...and contrary to what some of you might think...I am not the "wicked witch of the west" and I will not melt in the rain! ) It is beautiful and green all the time and I would rather put up with the rain than the 100 degree heat in Sacramento...

I never thought that, but it is good to know.

MM, When you take a break from doin' the Happy Dance you should update the Weather link in your signature to show us the cool temperature in Oregon.

Unless you're purposely keeping it tuned in to Sacramento to see what Sacs is having to endure.
