Dometic CU606D Fridge - Freezer Cold Fridge Not

Hi Folks!

I'm asking for a friend, actually my next door neighbor. They have a small travel trailer with a Dometic CU606D fridge which has worked well until recently.

They noticed it was tripping the breaker but now that has stopped. What they are seeing for symptoms is that the freezer is cold but the fridge is not. I checked all the fuses and power lines as it has a nice schematic right there that is easy to follow. All are good.

One thing we noticed is that the fan is not on. This is the fan on the outside above the coils. I checked for power going to it, there is power, but the fan does not spin. Apparently there is also a thermal fuse on the way to that fan but cannot access it. All I know is there is power going to it and it does not spin.

Could it be that easy, or are there other more common issues with this model? Overall impression is that the fridge is more/less as new.

So, it no longer trips the breaker, but the fridge is not cold and the freezer is and the fan does not appear to spin.

Food compartment will not get cooled down w/o that fan operating

Either the 'thermostat' that turns it on/off is bad or the fan is bad
