Door Awning

Need some help with a over the door awing. Believe its a Girard G-1500 but it doesn’t look like my manual. Will not extend. I know it’s trying as the amps go up in both directions. It’s a 12 VDC unit. I know wasp build nest in it and possibly dirt dobbers. Trying to figure out how to get the end caps off or get the whole thing off. Any help appreciated.

Yes, the big awning is a G-2000 and the small door awning is a G-1500. The large awnings are 120v and the smaller door awning is 12v.
I tried to upload the Girard manual but it exceeds the 3mb file size.
Give Girard a call.
