Drag link

Hello everyone, I live in France and I own a Monaco diplomat from 2004 and 40 p long. I'm having trouble finding a complete drag link or the solder-in ball joint. I also need rear brake drums. I would like to have the internet address of a supplier who could send me these parts Thank you for your answers. We hope after repairing the RV to leave, like all winters in the sun in Morocco, if the covid lets us go. Good night.

If your Diplomat is anything like ours your drag link has a bend in it so that when the wheels are turned sharp the drag link will not rub the left front tire. To keep the drag link parallel to the ground the end opposite the Pitman arm is welded in place. Below is contact information for a company that will make a new one. You also may be able to find a shop that will remove the tie rod end and install a new one. It will need to be welded back or pinned.

Call Cary Kaiser at Kaiser Brake and Alignment at (800) 877-5890. He can build any of the Monaco drag links with adjustable ends (both ends). Plus his prices will be a lot less that the Monaco parts prices.

As for the brake drums, they can be purchased at most truck part houses. Do an internet search.
