Drilling into coach wall

Hi Everyone
I am going to wall mount my computer monitor onto the back closet wall in our 07 Ambassador.
Is the wall strong enough with plastic anchors to hold the monitor bracket?
How do I find the metal studs to attach to if I need to?
Are there wires snaked in the back closet wall or do they travel in the open space between the wall and the back fiberglas cap?
How does the factory snake wires in walls?
Are they in channels or conduit of some kind?
Or just random in the foam?
Or somehow snaked inside the metal framework?
Or along the outer edge of the framework?

I am planning this simple project and don't want to mess anything up and turn it into a major job.

Thanks

Hmm...

I don't think I'd rely on plastic inserts to keep your monitor from falling on the floor while on the road. The walls are usually pretty thin veneer. Could you solve the problem by attaching a 1x4 or 2x4 flat across the back of the closet, screwed into the sides of the closet? At least then you'd have something sturdy to screw your monitor into. A second choice would be to find two metal studs and attach a 1x4 between them, then screw your monitor into the 1x4. Even with a 1x4, I'd be concerned about the weight of the monitor causing the screws to pull out while underway. I'd be more comfortable with a shelf to counteract the jouncing of the monitor. You could mount a shelf in the same way just described.

As this is the Monaco section I will answer from first hand experience...
We removed the "boat anchor" tv from the bedroom and installed a 32" led. Couldn't understand why screws were so hard to get thru the 1/4" luan. Found the luan was glued to pretty heavy sheets of aluminum! For full details see any Monaco brochure from the mid 2000's.
I had already glued a 3/8 piece of plywood (just smaller than the 27lb. tv) to the wall so will venture to say that it won't come off in a hurricane!!
Used sheet metal screws to mount the "mount".
