It isn't a difficult repair to do. Takes some time but it's not overly technical. It would be easier with 2 people to remove the bed platform and to lift the frame up and put it back.
Found my rollers securely mounted to the floor but they did need some lube.

Wow, great pictures and explanations.
I wonder if there are any experts that could help me with a slow moving Swintec slide on my HR Vacationer??

Have you considered a hard surfaced flooring? Allure possibly?
I think somebody here has done thay. Can't remember who....

I would consider that but first I need to know how to access the rollers to see if they are binding or broken. I've never worked on a slide-out so I need some advice.
I have done all my own maintenance on the other 3 coaches we have had so I am confident in my skills once I have some direction.

Denk look at the beginning of this thread, you will need to remove the bed platform, rotate up and you can see your J4 rollers that support the platform bed.

Denk. When moving your slide out if you see a trail of beavers chips(wood crumbs) on the carpet, that's the clue.

Actually, my sluggish slide is the one with the couch. I'm not sure about finding the rollers under the couch.

I have all of the pieces ready to go. Went to a local metal supply shop in Tucson that was amazing! Will start tomorrow as I have an appointment Wednesday to have the carpet restretch and reinstalled .
I found some wire chases in the floor of my coach. I will post more pics later, but only held in place with contact cement! That was my loose floor problem!.
More later, probably on my Beaver improvements page.
