Drivers Side Airbags Inflate Partially

Hello. We started our coach yesterday only to find that the driver's side airbags only inflated partially. The tanks inflated to 120-125 PSI and I could not hear any air releasing from the airbags or tubing. I did not check the lines with a soap solution. I dumped the air system and tried again, same situation. I have an 8 airbag system. In talking with Monaco Tech he suggested a possible check valve problem. I did order a new two way spliter check valve which is on its way from Indiana. I do not have air leveling, I use levelers to level the coach. I plan to use the front leveler to allow room for me to change the check valve.

Has anyone replaced the check valve and does anyone have any suggestions in changing the check valve?

Appreciate your thoughts.

Just a thought, but did you check the air leveling valve on the rear and the side that is low? Make sure the arm is still attached to the frame and valve. Just a thought.

I did not check anything on the rear. I thought the air systems were independent of each other. I did check the ride height adjustment arm on the front.

Sorry, I should have said that only the front drivers side partially inflates. The rear airbags are fine. Sorry I did not mention that important fact.

Please be safe working under your coach. Chances are you would not lose hydraulic pressure to the leveling jack, but if you did the results could be catastrophic. You can get a pair of 12 ton jack stands at Harbor Freight for $99. I sure feel safer under mine when using them. I hope your fix is an easy one.

Had someone look at the air system and said he did not see any issues. He suggested moving the coach forward several feet to see if the air bags further inflated. Sure enough, they fully inflated like magic. End of problem. We have been here for 4 months and ran and aired the coach monthly but did not drive it. Obviously something happened when we dumped the air the last time.
