We have a 2008 HR Navigator with Cummins 600 ISX and the Eaton Vorad system. It works great when it works, but extremely discouraged when it doesn't. Our system once would occssionally go in a fault while driving totally disabling the cruise status. Would find someplace to pull over, shut down the coach, restart it, the fault cleared and we good to go once again for many miles and many days without issue. Our most recent fault will not clear, therefore not allowing the cruise control to engage. Eaton Vorad sold their business to Bendix 2009/2010. After placing phone calls to them, they do not provide support and suggest we contact large trucking companies (as many trucks also use this technology) but after many calls to many companies, no success for info., guidance, or repair.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and how it was resolved, or looking for someone that knows this system for some much needed guidance. In particular how to disable it to allow cruise control to be engaged.
