Is your 2006 coach NOT pre-wired for an electric brake controller already?

My 2002 Windsor was not so I had to do all of the wiring myself.

I had to install a relay to change the negative brake signal into a positive brake signal for the Prodigy P3 to work correctly.

I have all of the diagrams if needed. But first find out if your coach is pre-wired or not.

You coach is supposedly pre-wired for an electric brake controller. See this link. There are some other pertinent links off of this Web page, including a service bulletin regarding incorrect relay wiring from the factory on some coaches.

The wiring may have been installed for a U.S. Gear Unified Tow Brake, but should be able to be used for most brand of electric brake controls. I recommend using the factory wiring, if it's there.

I put the relay in the front left box with the fuses and electrical stuff and I had to run the wire to the brake controller and a wire to the rear of the coach if it was pre wired I could not find them.

If the coach is pre-wired then why do you have to monkey with the brake signal?

Well shoot, just another screw up by Monaco. Their engineering department was staffed with a bunch of baboons.

Here's a link to a post Richard ("Dr4Film") made in 2011 on the relay, with pictures.

Richard-

"Baboons?" I don't agree with the characterization of the former Monaco engineers, but I do appreciate having a unique search term for this thread now in my ever-more-random-access memory. ;-)

Among the documents at the link in my post #6 is this one. It specifically addresses the issue of the brake signal working "backwards" on some 2006 coaches. This mis-wiring is also the subject of the service bulletin to which I linked in the earlier post.

If you make the change indicated you should not need to add a relay to your pre-wired coach to "reverse" the brake activation signal.

I can send you links to a source for the connector shell and pins needed to connect to the factory-supplied connector. You just need a suitable crimp tool. This will keep you from cutting into the wiring to connect your controller pigtail. Just let me know.
