Electric power cord reel doesn't retract cord

Does anyone know where to find the fuse for the electric power cord reel in a 2007 Monaco Dynasty Squire lV LE ?

I thought it was located just under the switch

We have a 2008 HR Endeavor but this might be the same

Under the driver outside bay there is a large plastic box. Take the cover off and inside of it there may be a fuse layout.

Looks like they use a circuit breaker on mine. It might be the shape of a fuse but made of metal.

Did you put a voltmeter on the two wires that feed the reel?

There have been a few failures reported on the motors on this forum over the years but not many.

My hose reel was mounted so the cable came off the bottom and down through a deck hole. It did not feed or retract well running on the edge of the hole even though there are little wheels to rub on.

Turning the reel around was an easy job so the cable comes off the top now and drops right down the center of the hole. Much smoother now.

While I was at it I modified the switch because it was set up to power in only. Now I can drop a pile of cord straight down and then retract what is not needed quickly.

Try board #4 in your rear run box. If you've not "been" there yet, it is a box, perhaps 18" square, with a flat, black cover and two wing-type fasteners. Board #4 should be on the left, looking in. On ours it might be labeled "Power Reels".

It is in the engine compartment, upper right corner of the opening.
