Electric sub panel on Monaco diplomat

Hi everyone I have been trying to figure out the purpose of the electrical sub panel on my 2000 Monaco diplomat. It is located in the same cubby as the transfer switch and has a Twist lock connection with a breaker of its own . Is this supposed to be used like a buddy plug or is it more like for a separate generator use? Thanks for any assistance

The IRV2App make it easy to post pics if taken on that phone.
Is twistlock male or female. If it has male parts you can touch was most likely for twistlock shore power cord that may have been abandoned for cord reel or permanent mounted cord. My 95 Sig. original has shore Twistlock but changed to reel.
Some coaches had no ATS you plugged in genny or shore power.Onners added ATS....Few owners ditched ATS to go that route instead.

The camper side is female, What would be the advantage
of using the twistlock for power in vs the 50amp cord feeding directly to the the transfer switch? Since the twistlock has a breaker between it and the transfer switch and I was thinking power was running out of the twistlock but unsure thanks for advice on the app, will install.

Yes that would an output or you would have a suicide outlet ,plug or cord on your hands. So must have been used to power another camper or possibly to feed a house breaker panel. Now that to do house to genny properly is a whole nother discussion.
Now you should test it and see if it's powered by just the genny, shore cord and or always with breaker on. Or you could just trace the wires.
EDIT I didn't zoom in on phone .....Looks like single phase 30a so maybe power second RV , or enclosed trailer or something.

Putting out 120 on one leg while plugged into Shore power, same with generator running but not while on inverted power.
Trying to figure out in what ways could I use this besides if I have a buddy who's generator does not work or if I wired an appropriate Inlet to my house. If it worked on inverted power that would have been awesome as I have a nice size battery Bank and could share power to lower amperage items as a buddy plug while boondocking

How far away is inverter . Could just run wiring to inverter output. Wouldn't recommend doubling up wire there though ,need room or box for some split bolts or 3wire connectors . Wire gauge to match inverter CB.
Then probably add second box for duplex outlet/s or swap 30a twist, there's second breaker spot available ,protect smaller amp outlet/wiring .
