Electrical plate
I'm looking for a replacement electrical cover plate. I'd like to replace like for like if they still make these. See picture. The plate is a speed box type with the 12 volt outlet and phone. I don't need either of those but the plate is almost the size of a quad box. A replacement like for like would be nice so the job doesn't turn into a weekend project.

Unfortunately that will not work. If you look at the picture closely, you will see the 4 screws go on the far corners of the plate. The plate is actually thick and rigid and the outlet receptacle mounts to the back of the plate that has screws protruding from the back of the plate. I've never seen anything like this. Must be Monaco specific of that era. The 4 outer screws attach to the plywood directly. There is no back box on this.

That's because your plate has been "rigged".

Pretty sure it's factory original from Monaco.

Have you tried someone like this? https://dg-usa.com/product-catalog/
They carry a lot of RV electrical products.

Just get a cover plate at Lowes. ALso get some 1x1 board or 1x2
And a bottle of glue and some rubber bands.
Procedure
Cut the lumber into 3 pieces, each 1-2 inches (2 is better) longer than the the cut out is wide.
Rubber band two of em together and covert ther last 1/2-1" of one of them with adheasive sealant like GOOP. NOTE hold the sticks in an "X" configuration.
INsert the piece with te Glue and then turn the other one to clamp it Position so the hole in the standard cover plate will "Hit the" stick
Wait for Glue to dry
Do the 3rd piece the same way with the other holes
Position cover and drill pilot holes.. Secure cover with wood screws. Or sheet metal screws.

Check out https://www.amazon.com/Leviton-80455.../dp/B0009KIMYW. You'll have to drill new mounting holes in the corners.

Crah,
That part is indeed "original" to your Monaco. I have two at least in our 2004 Monarch.
I would call the "new" monaco for direction on where to find.

I had the same issue. I couldn't find the cover. I think your right, it's a monaco exclusive. problem is, you have 120 volt on one side and 12 volt on the other side. Plus the phone wire. The cigarette lighter socket shorted out and kept blowing the fuse so I had to do something.
I took the whole thing out and put a double duplex residential box in. I have a duplex plug on 1 side and 4 usb ports on the other side. I didn't need the phone or 12 volt so that is labeled and capped off behind the box. It took me about 2 hours to do the swap out. We don't use the outlets alot, but I have charged my phone there a few times.
If you can find a replacement cover, it's quick and easy, however.
Happy to post a picture if you're interested.

No. Mine was exactly the same, unless they "rigged" both coaches.

I could not find that plate anywhere!
Mine had a crack at the top that was only visible when the top screws were tightened. I ended gluing it with just a touch of super-glue. I then roughed up the backside and applied some Qwik JB Weld to reinforce it. Can't even see where the crack was now.
