The dashe temp gauge and scangauge D (ECM data) are reading temperature at different places. They both could be correct and different.
Although I agree that the dash gauges on our Monacos are well known for being inaccurate.
On my coach (CAT C13) the dash temp gauge sender is on the top of thermostat housing after the thermostat and the ECM temperature sensor is on the engine block (before thermostat).
