Entrance door automatic lock

Does anyone know how to disable the auto door lock feature on a 2001 Holiday Rambler Imperial.
I have locked myself out twice with the engine running. Luckily I've had a spare key but it is a PITA

Sorry, I don't know how to do it through programming, but worse case you could remove the inner door trim piece to access the mechanism and unplug the electrical connector to the door lock actuator.

I agree this is the only way I know how to accomplish what you want to do.

Put something over the metal contact points along the door hinge?

On my friend's 08 HR Scepter, the door would lock when the key was turned on. On my 08 Camelot, built 3 weeks later, my did did not lock when turning key on.

Both coaches utilize the TriMark system for door keypad, remote, etc. If yours uses TriMark, there is an option to change whether your doors lock when turning key to on.

What system was used on your coach?

I have only had the coach a week. I'm not sure who made the lock. I will try insulating the contacts. I was looking for a wire going into the door and never clued in to how the power got to the lock.
Thanks for the help.

I would think there is a relay somewhere. I personally dislike the “auto intelligence” they try to build in.

The one that buged me was the auto disable the slide power when the key is turned, like I’m going to push out the slides while going down the road. Found the relay in the engine bay and cross connected it. Problem solved
