Entry Door Latch
2004 HR Ambassador 38PDQ [new to me]. Entry door lower latch doesn't want to release with the outside handle. Inside release works fine. Is there a video or written guide to getting to the outside door handle and latches for cleaning adjusting, etc? I've tried searching this forum and my skills are just not yielding anything.

If you'll look at the bottom of this page, you'll see "Similar Threads". You might be able to find the answer to your question there.

Thanks for the door reference material -- added to my reference library.

Sticky Door Latch
Found the Tri Mark adjustment procedure in 'old threads' but on my 2004 HR there's no hole or plug to remove through which to insert a thin wall 7/16 to adjust it. I took the metal trim that runs top to bottom on the edge of the door, there were two holes below the latch itself which looked promising, but there's nothing behind the hole.
Called Tri Mark, no response to date. Guess I'll take everything off the inside to see if I can find anything that looks like an adjuster. I've been able to get in by pounding the door with my palm so far, but I'm leaving a window unlocked just in case.

Tom, don't know if your door is the same, but look at my post #20 in the link below.

Got a call back from Abby L, Tri Mark Service & Replacement (800-431-8616) who seems helpful. Now I just have to take the door apart to get the photos she needs. I'll try the adjustment lead MSHappyCampers gave me.
I have to go to one of the rallies just to learn how to use the search engine for this forum. Seniors always have 'finds' that I haven't uncovered. Maybe Quartzite.

Tom, always use the dark green search box at the upper right that says "powered by Google". The "Search" option in the menu bar is practically worthless!
