Euro Recliner question

I'm going to be putting a desk work area on the curb side in place of the second couch. I was wondering if any of your have a Euro Recliner that are so popular with the RV community. Reason being is that I was looking for some input as to whether these could also serve the purpose of a desk chair as well. I think I would like to have a chair that would act as a combo desk/recliner chair for computer work/lounging as well.
Any input would be appreciated.
thanks,
ray

Our coach came with a Euro Recliner, it sits pretty low and as such we never used it to sit at the desk but instead took one of the table chairs and used it.

You might check to see if they do make a dual purpose type recliner, hopefully some one with chime in.

I am sitting in one at the computer desk. I took the legs off the chair and the footstool which had a longer leg swapped them and now chair is correct height and the stool is a little lower and works for my legs just fine. Make sure you put in a pull out for the laptop at a lower than desktop height to make keyboard comfortable

Our coach came with a Stressless Lounger. One of the advantages of this brand is that it has a slider with a locking mechanism that allows you to lock it in any position within its range of motion. So you can lock it in an upright position to enforce sitting upright.

But, that being said, it still sits too low to really work with a normal desk height. There is a mounting bracket to hold a small table across the seat. But, I find this to be rather awkward for even my 15" laptop.

I seriously think you need a desk chair for working at a desk and a lounger for relaxing. Someone may have an idea for a dual action unit. But, I can tell you the Stressless brand is not designed for that application.
