Exterior LED's

Has anyone converted exterior lights, stop, turn signal and running lights to LED's ? If so did you have to add a load resister? Or an electronic flasher relay?

I'd just change to an electronic flasher to slow the blink rate down. Replacing the other lights with LED is no issue.

Hi Ken,
yes, although an older Vintage Monaco which I imported into Australia last year, I did replace all Clearance (Marker), Tail, including Brake and Indicators/Turn to LED. The fronts Indicators I left as original, due to their design and size.

By law we have to change all the Rear Lights and Marker/Clearance Lights to Australian Standards including rear Amber Turn/Indicators and Side Markers/Clearance with both Amber & Red in the one unit.

No modifications or load resistors were required, although they do sell them here.

All of our running lights are LED. We added some and will be installing more up the back sides this summer. We like being very visible

Did you put the resistor in parallel or series
