Fantastic Fan, 2005 HR Ambassador

My 2005 HR Ambassador has 2 Fantastic thermostatically controlled ceiling fans. On one of them, mice apparently chewed through the control wires that runs through the ceiling between the fan and the thermostat about 6 ft away.
I can literally pull the wire out and see where it was chewed. Hot and ground are intact so I modified the connections to run the fan locally, but the control wire is open so I can't run it from the thermo. Does anyone know any tricks to fish a new wire to bypass the cut one? I have a similar problem with my backup camera:There's an intermittent cable, but the cable is apparently secured to the body somewhere inside, leaving only about 6" to work with outside and making it impossible to use the existing cable to pull through a new one. This one I could work around if necessary by pulling a whole new cable down inside the rear fiberglass clip and underneath the coach, but the fan cable problem has me stumped.

I've been thinking about upgrading my fantastic fans. I'm seriously thinking about going with a MaxxFan. It's remote control and might solve your problem.
