Well GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!! We finally left the Eugene area yesterday with a bug free coach! After almost a year of fulltiming in the Cheetah and five visits to Junction City and Coburg Guaranty RV Service we now have everything fixed and are rolling with a new coach.
The biggest issues were the roof cracks and the very many paint annomolies that I had found. I finally started getting VERY picky and had no problems with the bodyshop people who worked diligently on getting these things solved. Monoco approved everything.

The thing that I have found with Monoco is that they use the customer as their quality control agent. Well...NOW, we have a quality coach. I must admit that I was beginning to wonder and was starting to get depressed about all of the issues we found and the money we spent on the motorhome. It's a good thing that I talked with plenty of rvers. Every one of them has had their long list of "new coach bugs". Some of them longer and worse than others. It made me realize that it happens to everyone and that it is very rare to have a coach come out of the factory with no bugs regardless of what manufacturer.
I'm just glad that we live in our coach and were able to find everything within the year warrenty period instead of having to put the coach to bed during the winter and then find more problems during the camping season. A lot of people never get all of their original problems taken care of within the warrenty period because they didn't have a chance to find them.

Anyway....CHEERS to a bug free coach and hopefully months of no problems!

Happy trails all,

AKBrick and CheetahGirl

Congratulations.

Unfortunately the probabaility of everything working properly on a coach at the same time is really close to zero.

Keep up with the maintenance and fix the little things as they break and learn to sigh when the item that worked perfectly yesterday suddenly doesn't work today.

AKBrick,
I just can't help but wonder how many times your ac ducts have been breached as ours were. If you have an antenna for the dash radio mounted above the sofa, the coax might be running through the front driver's side duct to get to the radio.

glennb100-This is our third coach and yes I've learned to "sigh" plenty of times.

Bill- Don't tempt me! We'll probably be dropping by this winter.

Camelot Camper- I'm just not gonna look. Maybe what I don't know, won't hurt me?

BTW all of you Monoco Forum Members, Thank you all so very much for all of your great advice through our first year of Monoco product ownership. You've been extremely helpful and I feel like I've gained some freinds in a lot of you. I hope to meet you all on the road in the future. Oh yeah, forgive me for getting off topic sometimes in the past and some of my strange bantering.

A tip of the toddy to you all.

Cheers,

AKBrick

Hooray!!! But be ready, stuff is still gonna happen. Sorry, I had to say it. But, You'll still have fun along the way! A sense of humor is a requirement! But I know you have that, so happy and safe travels!

Brenda,

You are so right. As the bumper sticker says... "STUFF HAPPENS". But a good sense of humor does help to ease the pain.

Congratulations anyway, AKBrick. I remember the good feeling when my last warranty bug was fixed.
