Fireplace remote receiver

Help.....
I have a 2008 Monaco Diplomat SKQ. It has a fireplace and tv located in the middle. The fireplace (Dimplex) quit working and I believe the remote receiver has gone bad. The fireplace has power to it but won’t turn on. I cannot find where the receiver, the fireplace or the tv plugs in. Anyone know so I don’t have to tear down the walls
Thanks

Open the cabinet to the left of the TV. Use a light and find the little staples used to hold the bottom in place. Remove all and then take that shelf floor out.

You will find it in there.

This receiver was recalled many years ago and there was not a replacement when mine smoked. I have tossed the remote and just have the fireplace plugged in and use the switches on the front.

I have had my fireplace out so many times I need a zipper on it. Making modifications and running cables is very difficult on the SKQ.

I now have a hole drilled in the bottom side of the cabinet mentioned. A computer table grommet makes it look factory. I also cut the same size hole in the bottom of the cabinet mentioned on the right side.

Leaving the staples out of the bottom piece of that cabinet has allowed me much greater access and freedom to make changes.

Yes, just found the site while searching for info on my issue. We have had our 2008 Monaco Diplomat for a year. First time Rvr’s. We are retired and in our mid 60’s and love it. I drove school bus for 10 years so driving is not a problem.
I have book marked this site and plan on using it a lot.

Would a programmable wireless remote work to solve this problem? I think they're only $22.00 on Amazon.

I missed that you are new here. Welcome!

We have a 2008 40SKQ bought new. I know our RV and am an electronic tech so this thing has been documented closely. Ours is a HR Endeavor but is the same as yours.
