Firestone Intelliride in 2005 Imperial

I have the Firestone air level system. Information is very slim on these things. I managed to get the re-calibration program from Driverite. Has anyone attempted to use this software? Any tips on the setup?
My coach leans in the back to the drives side. The wheel wells are off by 2"
I'd like to level it out. I have an XP laptop to try this process.

Well, I figured it out myself and now the system works as it should.
No more lean and no more bottoming out or hunting for horizon level

intelliride

Nice to know someone out there was able to figure this out. Do you mind sharing the solution? I have a 2005 Scepter with the same system and the same simptoms. your help would be much appreciated.

regards.

1Coolz71, as U found, the program works well and solves many problems. I've used it, as needed, for more than 5 yrs. I just have to re-educate myself each time since it is rarely needed.
Don't forget that your ride height is also set by the program, not manually.
Rwenke, do you have the program? That is necessary to make any adjustments.

First thing is get the program and install it in an old computer.
I did get it to work in a Win7 laptop but not anything newer.
That way you have it for future use too.

Once you have it installed, hook up to the control box behind the left panel.
It's mounted on the wall toward the front.

The intelliride must be turned on and the ignition on.
If the program is working you will have the option of diagnostic or calibration.

See if you get that far and let me know.

BE SURE to perform the grounding bulletin that is listed on the Intelliride site before anything. That was my whole issue, a bad ground!!

You may find fixing the ground fixes all your issues.

Thanks for the information. I'll take a look at the grounding bulletin before any further effort.
I'm still a working stiff, so it will have to wait until the weekend

thanks again.

Here's a copy for you, My air manifold was in the diesel tank bay on the drivers side next to the filter for the aquahot:

June 29, 2005
Firestone has found a ground noise issue on a number of Monaco coaches. The ground noise can potentially cause a coach to not level properly when using the Horizon Level feature. Because of the variation in ground noise between vehicles, the leveling error can vary from slightly noticeable with use a level to obviously detectable. As well, some vehicles may have no issue with achieving a level
stance. Because it is difficult to determine the ground noise of each vehicle, we recommend making revisions to the system grounding as a precaution for all vehicles. After making the grounding revisions, a vehicle that previously did not level properly should easily achieve level. If it does not, there may be calibration errors. In this case, the calibration software should be used to recalibrate the vehicle on a level surface. An improperly calibrated vehicle will not
level regardless of the ground noise issue.

The following directions describe the process to modify the wiring on existing vehicles.

1. Disconnect the air manifold connector and locate the ground wire on the "System Side." This will be located at Pin F.
2. Pull about 12" of the ground wire out from the harness and cut it.
3. Tape off the remaining wire in the harness and the put the protective covering back on it.
4. Crimp a ring terminal on the 12" ground wire that was pulled out.
5. Unbolt the outermost accelerometer bolt and scrape the paint off of the bracket below the bolt hole.
6. Connect the ring terminal onto the bolt that was taken out of the accelerometer and tighten the bolt again.
7. Secure the harness with a wire tie to prevent excess vibration at the connectors.

My Windsor listed to one side, got the program, and it works with windows 7, reprogramed the system on level ground and it works perfect when I push the horizontal button.

I have a Holiday 2005 Imperial and has the firestone inteliride system. I have developed a issue ,not related to un level situation but am loosing air pressure in the coach too rapidly. REV says they "think" I have a air leak in the main Firestone air hose block ,located in my diesel fuel tank bay on driver side of coach. They removed the suspect air hoses ,replaces them and charged me 8 hours of labor ,saying I probably need to replace the whole unit all hoses mount into.
Has anyone had this similar situation happen to them ? What was the fix?I have had several companies check for air leaks in the coach with no luck. ANY IDEAS ?

When does it lose air?
While running, when parked and turned off?
When it loses air does it sag one way or another?

I’ve had holes in air bags, leaky valves etc but they each have a different symptom .

I have the same system and not sure why they would not notice or be able to detect a leak in that box.
But in cold weather, I have determined that at least one of the lines going into the block will let my coach leak down during cold weather. When the system air is warm, and during warm weather, it does not seem to happen. They are push in connections and I discovered one leaking air. If I started the engine, or drove for a while, it would stop. I finally gave up. Everything seems to work we’ll otherwise, but if you have a auxiliary compressor it can get overworked.

HR Scepter

HI All,

Well, I'm back a with the same problems, just 2 years older

I have a HR Scepter with a firestone intelliride auto leveling system. Back in 2017 my system worked ok, getting within 2-3 degrees of level. Sadly, just recently its gone into a complete tizzy and throws the coach into a radical "out of level" state. I have called "driverite air" and they have sent me the software to load onto a early windows laptop with a 9 pin serial port, which my IT guy has, however we've been unsuccessful with loading the software.

I've also upgraded the grounding to the system.

so that leads me to my question, does anyone have the software on a laptop? and if so are you willing to rent me your device?

Of course I'd pay all shipping costs and provide a security deposit. just need to get this thing up and running again.

thanks in advance.

Make sure its a windows 7 system and nothing newer or it won't work.
I will check my old laptop to see if its still in there.

I have it on my laptop with windows 7 they said it wouldn't work on but it does, when I got the program it was zipped and my LT would not unzip it, I copied it to an sd card and unzipped on my wife computer and then installed it on my laptop and it worked fine.
