we are travling from orlando fl area to minnesota and would to know what is the best route to miss all the mountain

Orlando-Atlanta-Chattanooga-Nashville-Paducah-St.Louis. Where you go from there depends upon where you are heading in MN. It's fairly direct and it doesn't go through any mountains, just kinda foothills in N. Georgia.

If you don't even want to *see* a mountain, then you could always head West over to New Orleans, stop for a few days and enjoy the exquisite food, then just follow the Mississippi River North. No way you will run into any mountains going that way.

There is a mountain going thru chatanooga. or a big hill at least.
