Fluid coils in upper Hydrohot bay.

What are these fluid coils in 1999 Beaver Monterey upper Hydrohot bay?

Thanks.

I've never seen anything like those. Doesn't look factory but not sure. I guess you need to trace the plumbing to and from.

My guess is that that is a heat exchanger for engine coolant into the basement to keep it warm in cold weather. It does look like an aftermarket install. You'd have to trace lines to confirm. Need to check if there is some sort of valving to turn it off/on.

Actually not a bad idea.

A lot of the plumbing looks like it has been redone since the factory.
I'm not sure if the yellow heat exchanger tubes are original either.

You are so right.
I called ITR and that is what they said. They also sent me a manual for the C045D heating unit.
Thanks for your reply.
