Fnt door won't stay open

The front door used to stay open on our 20111 Knight, but not now. Got a ladder and looked on top at how this bar is removed, but, can't figure it out. Anyone know how you take it off?

Do a search on this forum and you will find the cure. I did it using a crescent wrench closed down tight on the top rail and twisting it down. I am not describing it very well but it is described in detail on another Monaco thread here on IRV2.

Mine was riveted to the door. Drilled out the rivets. Put it on a Block. Smashed the hinge rivet with a hammer to close the gap and re revited to the door. Good as new.

Here is a link to the posts about this problem. We discussed this a couple of yrs. ago. Mine had 2 flat braces that held the door open. One of the braces has a "dimple" and the other a "buldge". I took a pair of pliers and bent the 2 closer together (buldge now fits into the dimple tighter. Did not have to remove the arms. When I sold the MH a few weeks ago it was working great.
