Will a wallpaper steamer work as well? Was it necessary to use the citrus remover to clean up leftover residue? What are some of the “others “ you used. I have an 08 Dynasty that the DS is showing it’s age. Anyone out there try the clear vinyl wrap suggestion and what kind of success?

I don’t know how to protect it for the future but it sure looks fantastic at this point.

I would think a wallpaper steamer would work fine. The 2 chemicals I used are in this photo. The plastic film comes right off in pieces. It’s the sticky glue that takes all the time and effort. Put the spray on and let it work for a minute or so before scraping off with plastic razor blades. You will have to do the same area more than once as it is really a sticky mess. Helps to change blades often also so you are using a nice sharp edge. Hope this helps. Click image for larger version
