Fresh water pump replacement

Tring to replace the fresh water pump on a 2008 Monaco Diplomat. I cannot get to the back hose fitting. Anybody have any experience with this? I cannot get an angle right to get pliers or vise grips on it.

The previous owner of my coach had modified/changed how the pump was plumbed in. They added a couple lengths of hose and mounted the pump up high in the compartment to free up floor space.

The extra hose makes it easy to change, which I had to do a few years back, but also makes it easy to disconnect the hoses to winterize the pump.

You can go to a Lowes or Home Depot and buy the fittings and hose. Cost a little up front but worth in the long haul
