Fridge Items Move while Underway
This is my first res. fridge motorhome. Door secures well but what does everyone use to keep items from wondering around inside the fridge? Freezer isn't an issue, just fridge. Tried plastic containers (open top) but even these still move around?
Please use photos of your ideas.

We started by using some of those colored foam noodles, cut to various sizes and wedged into the frig spaces before travel. That was maybe 20+ years ago. We've tried other ideas and suggestions over time, but none seemed to work as well or were as easy.

We use the plastic storage containers and never had an issue with them sliding around.

I like how you think.
There's a HUGE residential fridge in our recently acquired Phaeton. I never filled up the double door Norcold in our prior Bounder & I sure won't fill this Maytag, which is much larger.
With the Norcold, what I couldn't get in the door shelves, I put in the drawers & what didn't fit in those I put in Tupperware & then kept it all packed on one shelf. If I didn't have enough to fill an entire shelf, I used the large Cool-it bricks from the cooler to take up the rest of the empty shelf space. That seemed to work, plus the bricks helped keep the fridge section cool which was an issue with the Norcold when there wasn't enough stuff in it. I'll do the same with the Maytag.

We use a series of expandable spring-loaded curtain rods. 5 of them works for us and keeps things in place, including the heavier items like milk and heavy drawers. Easily removed when you get to your destination. We have used this system for about 6 years and it works for us. Hope this may help. Happy trails Bert

I've found zip lock type bags more convenient than containers for lots of things, and they don't slide around as much.
If you have wire shelving, there are plastic dividers you can get that clamp to the wire shelving and can be moved around to hold things in place. If you have glass shelving, then perhaps some well-placed suction cups on the shelves to prevent sliding?

They make a part like a shower curtain rod that extends by twisting in various lengths. Check your RV store. We also have the ones that clamp to the wire shelving.

Try these https://www.amazon.com/Camco-44033-F...ateway&sr=8-49.
You can adjust them into position to contain any any refrigerator load.

My local Menards had two isles of Camco products first time this year including double and single fridge/shelf rods. I snapped off some of retainers on doubles for shorter shelves.
